Born and raised in central Minnesota, Dennis M. Myers dedicated the first decade of his adult life to the United States Navy, serving in the FBM Submarine Force. During this time he wrote adventures for Challenge Magazine (GDW), ran several Traveller campaigns including games at local conventions. He also began writing a fantasy novel which is currently unfinished. Eventually he left the service in order to be closer to his children. He moved to Richmond, Virginia in 1997 and has worked in the Information Technology field ever since.

In his spare time he has been working on several science fiction novels. His recently published short story is Applesauce Pancakes, a dystopian day in the life of a couple who will love each other until the end of the world, which will probably be later this afternoon. The anthology is called The Rabbit Hole, Volume Two. There will very probably be good news regarding his Rise of the Automated Empire series very soon. He is also actively shopping another series called Red Ice. This one exists in the same universe, but 800 years earlier.
